If it's your girlfriend you're buying lingerie for, the easiest way to find her size, would be to look in her underwear drawer and check the label inside – if you feel comfortable doing so. If you're looking for a bra size, the label you're looking for is usually located near the bra clasps.

The bra size consists of both a letter and a number, and it's important that you take note of both. The number indicates the circumference in centimeters measured under the bust around the body, and will typically be 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, etc. The letter, usually from A to J, indicates the volume of the bust, where A is the smallest and J is the largest. Panty size is usually indicated by numbers: 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46 or letters: XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL.

The next thing to be aware of is that there are often several different sizes listed inside the same brand of bra. These sizes are typically shown in a small table where you might see FR, EU, or UK, each with different numbers next to them. This variation exists because sizing standards differ depending on whether you're in France, other parts of Europe, or in the United Kingdom. Always refer to the numbers and letters listed under the EU box.

If you want to be completely sure, it can be a good idea to take a picture of the entire label inside the bra and of the bra itself. The size she needs can vary depending on the type of bra. If you have a picture of the label inside and a picture of the bra itself, our lingerie stylist will have a very good starting point to find something that fits perfectly. Another good tip is to bring one of her bras with you to our store.

In addition to knowing her size, it's a good idea to pay attention to the style of her lingerie. Does she like lace? Does she prefer padded or unpadded bras? Does she enjoy colors, or does she lean towards neutral shades like black and nude? It might be wise to choose something that isn't too different from what she already wears in terms of fit or padding preference, because you know she feels comfortable in those, which is most important. A set of lingerie can be exquisitely beautiful with handcrafted French lace, but if she doesn't feel comfortable in that particular type of lingerie, it will show when she wears it.
