How to wash your lingerie and swimmwear

Extend the lifespan of your favorite lingerie, your favorite bikini, or swimsuit by following these washing instructions. These recommendations are advisory, but we would like to emphasize that you should always follow the washing instructions you can see on the label of your bikini.

Lingerie

1. To protect your lingerie as best as possible, we recommend that you always wash your bras in a laundry bag to prevent underwires from getting caught or hooks from snagging on the washing machine or other garments.

2. We always recommend that you fasten the hooks on your bras to prevent them from catching on lace and potentially tearing it.2.

3. We always recommend washing your lingerie with regular color detergent and avoiding detergents meant for delicate fabrics. Remember to check the washing label for the maximum temperature your lingerie can tolerate. When washing white lingerie, be mindful that detergent designed for white clothing can potentially make your lingerie appear gray - white detergent is optimal only for clothing that is optically white, but if the fibers are naturally white, detergent with optical brighteners can cause discoloration. Therefore, we simply recommend using regular color detergent, even for your white lingerie.

Badetøj

  1. Chlorine, saltwater, and sunscreen can over time contribute to premature wear of your swimwear. We always recommend thoroughly rinsing your swimwear with water after use to remove all traces of sunscreen and salt, to prevent stains from forming on the fabric.

2. Remember to open any clasps and rinse them thoroughly to wash away sand residue. This helps prolong the lifespan of the clasps and prevents unnecessary wear, as hardened sand can damage them.

3. When the season ends and your swimwear needs to be washed and stored away until next year, or if you simply feel it needs a thorough cleaning, we recommend washing it with regular color detergent at the temperature indicated on the label.
